Проще на русском. Насколько я знаю, изначально 1С создала поисковую систему Интернет (как Гугл или Яндекс). Название пошло от 1Секунда - так быстро она могла искать документы по тем временам. Так и назвали 1С. Потом они выпустили бухгалтерскую программу, вставив в него название компании 1С:Бухгалте...
