Utility to migrate 1C:Enterprise code into English

Postby Elisy » Tue Mar 10, 2009 9:20 am

The huge amount of 1C:Enterprise code is written in Russian. To help migrate your configurations from Russian to English the following utility was written.
1. Extract file from archive.
2. Open external processing (File->Open) MigrateToEnglish.epf
3. Copy and paste Russian source code into Source Code text box.
4. Press Translate button in the right bottom corner.
5. Copy and Paste translated text from output window to 1C:Enterprise designer.

Notes:
* Requires 1C:Enterprise 8.0. Compatible with 1C:Enterprise v.8.1
* Translates keywords and common object names to English
* Configurable: you can add your own terms for translation into Templates->Dictionary spreadsheet document
* Outputs translated text in highlited manner

Hi,
I know that multiple user interface languages can coexist in one 1C enterprise solution.
Can anyone give example of how can I determine with which language a user is logged in with?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

xsysfan

Please view the following functions in 1C:Enterprise help systems:

Code: Select all

CurrentLanguage()

and

Code: Select all

CurrentSystemLanguage()

I see the first function is your answer.

Best regards

Thanks Elisy,

It does the job.
Is there a function refence for 1C Enterprise scripting language, the list of all available functions and procedures.
That would be of great use to programmers around here, including me as well.

Thank you again.

Best regards

1C:Enterprise includes Help system containing all the function/objects/methods descriptions. In designer it's available by pressing Ctrl+F1.
